Marin,

The lastest NOAA electronic charts are free. They may be downloaded to a
computer from NOAA's website.

I think that Garmin and Furuno also provide this free service for their
charts. JUST KIDDING.

Actually the NavNet3d charts from Furuno are free for the full US NOAA
set (or if you prefer included) and are downloadable from their
website. Not relevant to the "conversation" but just for the record.
