The best time to call is in the evenings I gather Homer Hughes, the creator and builder of the Allweather, is winding down the business, at age 67, after having built some 30 boats. The last three boats are in various stages of completion in his shop in Ferndale, Washington. When I'm back in the Pacific Northwest later in the month, I hope to visit with Homer. --Georgs
