All,

For some odd reason, I think my e-mail app has sent replies to private
e-mails back to the list, and I have just noticed this. If anyone has
received them, please disregard them, and I will try to find out why this
is happening, and shut them off. Sorry for this, as I never noticed it
until now.

Thanks,

Will

That's the default for this list. It seems a good idea to me, as something
posted on a public list should normally be sent back there in my opinion. But
others differ. It's a bit like religion and top/bottom posting.

I wish I could set my email client to always reply to specific senders (i.e.
lists), but alas I can't do it in Thunderbird.

IMHO, time-nuts is configured almost optimally, to reply to both the list and
the original sender. I personally drop the original sender and just reply to the
list.

A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?
A: Top-posting.
Q: What is the most annoying thing in e-mail?
