Is your new years resolution to improve your art skills? Tacoma
Academy of Fine Art exists to offer students a supportive environment
and  training necessary to build solid skills and the confidence to
communicate their unique vision.

Currently we are offering these courses:

-Beginning Drawing. Learn the basics of visual art with of line,
shading, perspective, and gesture. Class time consists of lecture and
of students putting theory into practice by drawing simple forms.
-Intermediate Drawing. Taking the knowledge and skills acquired in
Beginning Drawing, the student will have opportunities to draw from
more complex forms in our collection of cast statues and still life
objects.
-Beginning Painting. In this course the principles learned in
Beginning and Intermediate Drawing are used as a foundation as the
student learns to render 3-D objects using oil paint.

Winter quarter starts Thursday, January 5th.
