Interested in Birds?
Help us kick off the start of year four of Atlas-3 this April, at our
in-person kick-off event weekend! The events will focus on an introduction
to Atlas-3 and how to best get involved. It is also a great way to meet
fellow Atlassers, get hands-on training from experts, and ask questions in
person to better prepare yourself for the upcoming season. Experience is
not required, enthusiasm is!

Atlas HQ will be hosting two in-person kick-off events: Saturday, April
20th at Innisdale Secondary School in Barrie and on Sunday, April 21st at
the North Grenville Municipal Centre in Kemptville. Registration is
required for both the Barrie and Ottawa events and spots are limited!

If you’re not in the Barrie or Ottawa areas, watch

events hosted by Atlas Regional Coordinators!

Join us for our next Sappy Hour - Thursday, April 18 at 7pm
Join us for our next Sappy Hour “Getting Started with Atlas-3” on April 18
at 7pm (Eastern Time)! This Sappy Hour will be useful for both new
atlassers as well as those who want a refresher. We’ll go over atlassing
basics and have time to answer any Atlas-related questions.

Two weeks left in owl season!
There are just two weeks left in this year's survey window for the Eastern
Screech-Owl, Central Owl, and Northern Owl survey protocols. Take advantage
of an exceptional year with many roads open that wouldn't normally be for
this time of year by doing one or more surveys. Need a refresher? Watch our
Sappy Hour from last March about how to conduct Atlas owl surveys
