TWL: Good to be back!

It's nice to be back aboard TWL.  This past I unsubscribed when it came time
to move aboard our 44 Atlantic, Heart's Desire.  As we did last year, my wife
and I rented our home for a 4 month period to move aboard as a trial run prior
to begin our cruising life come next summer or fall.

Up until now we have not been connected to the internet or e-mail.  However,
I had been saving info from TWL members on how they connected.  Last year a
number of members indicated that Verizon was the way to go with their Mobile
Office software and free internet service after 9pm and weekends.  Thanks to Mark
Richter's posts, this is the way we just went after my wife dropped her
T-mobile phone overboard!  Grat excuse to change plans!!

So now we are using an LG VX-10 phone with 400 anytime minutes, 1000 mobile
to mobile minutes , unlimited nights and weekends, no roaming from anywhere to
anywhere on the Verizon network , with internet access all for 39.99 per
month!

We have had a great summer aboard and were able to take a 12 day cruise
through LI Sound to ports like Milford, CT, Sag Harbor, Greenport , Port Jefferson
and Block Island, experiencing probably the best string of weather of the
summer.

After upgrading Heart's Desire's systems and appearance for the past 2 years
since purchasing her, she ran like a top the entire time.  However, in keeping
track of the racors it has become apparent that this winter will see the
installation of a fuel polishing system.  Lots of gunk and 2 filter changes in 40
hours of running convinced me this is the way to go.

Anyhow, just wanted to say Hi and it's good to be back.  Went through a case
of withdrawal not being able to  access the great people and info on this
list!!
