THIS WEEK IN TRI CLUB (August 30-September 6)! Before we get into this week, a brief recap of what was an amazing weekend that included... • 3 new Gator triathletes... Congrats to Kristie Bruno, Sean Cozart, and Gleb Epelbaum who all successfully completed the Upper Dublin Triathlon! And honorable mention to a couple of other Gator-related first timers this weekend including Shawn O'Malley's wife, Kari, who also completed the Upper Dublin Tri and Anna Kawarski, Jeff Moyer's neice, who successfully completed the Escape the Cape Tri! • Amazing results at the Escape the Cape Tri that included PODIUM finishes from Randell Torres, Brittany Acosta, Chris Acosta, Holly Beauchamp, and Joyce Williams! • Top of the mountain... Congrats to Chris Townsley for his 3rd place overall finish at the Hawk Mountain Extreme Off Road Triathlon... PODIUM! • Great performances from all of our youth Gators at the Scoogie Events "Kids Rock Summer Triathlon"! • Great performances from our 5 participants at the Philly 10K! On to this week... • Our evening bike ride start times and ride durations will stay at 6pm, but the ride times are reduced to 75 minutes due to earlier sunsets. • The indoor lap pool continues to be closed for seasonal cleaning, but we are offering workouts (11:30am-12:30pm) in the outdoor pool's lap lanes. • OWS options... Due to the water quality issues at Blue Marsh, we may not offer our Saturday OWS/ride... There are other OWS options from our sponsors, French Creek Racing (Tuesday, Thursday evenings and Saturday morning) and Mid-Atlantic Multisport (Wednesday evening).
