Cruising America's Great Loop and other inland routes
View all threadsHi All,
I'm sure everyone knows the issues we are having up here in Lake
Champlain with the high lake level. Many of the marinas are flooded
and having a tough time getting going.
Just wanted folks to know that the Point Bay Marina in Charlotte is
open and basically on schedule launching boats and providing their
usual excellent service on the lake. The docks and store are open and
they have regular pump out, gas, and diesel. Their crew have done an
amazing job coping with the high water - probably the best on the
lake.
The debris floating in the lake is worse than it usually is this time
of year (we always start the season with floating debris from the
normal high spring water levels) so one has to be particularly alert.
Please feel free to contact us directly if you have any specific questions.
Best
