Subject: Hello from Brisbane!

Dear Charles, TC & JJ,

Is Boojum wet yet? Sure hope so, and that you have already enjoyed some
NZ cruising! And don't forget we are still hoping the Vollums will be
joining us for some cruising RSN.

Brisbane is great - we didn't realize how cosmopolitan the city is. We
don't much care for having Adagio in a marina, but for another couple of
weeks she will have to stay "in jail" to facilitate a few bits of trades
work. I just returned from a Xmas visit to Tiburon and Dallas, and am
mighty happy to be HOME again!

Once Dorothy returns from her grandmother duty (helping our daughter
with 3-month old Sarah, 2nd grandkid) we'll be sailing for Sydney. We
won't try for Tasmania this season as we are too late. So we are
thinking to enjoy the Great Barrier Reef this winter, Tasie next summer,
then happily back to New Caledonia the following winter.

We REALLY enjoyed our too-short cruise in New Caledonia.  We are telling
everyone we know of the wonders of Ilse des Pins, and can't wait to
return - we'll circumnavigate New Caledonia next time.

I have updated our website with photos from New Caledonia. Still have to
find some time to write a bit of a cruising report. There are even some
Koala pics for JJ there - see

http://www.adagiomarine.com

PS - if you are in reach of real-email, would you mind forwarding my
note to TWL, so folks know of new website? On my US trip I discovered
that our previous website had fallen prey to the dot.com collapse. It
was GONE! So I decided it was time to get control of our domain, which
is redirected to free Apple iTools serving. Which by my casual tests
over DSL looks to be pretty quick, and the price is right <g>.

All the best,

Steve
