The event will include live performances by Kellie Richardson, 2015-2017 Tacoma Poet Laureate Thy Nguyễn, emerging poet and UWT student Byron Gaines II., Olympia Poet Laureate Sady Sparks, and winner of the 2019-2021 Tacoma Poet Laureate competition, Abby E. Murray, who will officially be awarded the position. Light refreshments will be served and attendees will have an opportunity to participate in a hands-on project.
