Just checking with the group out there if anyone else is doing an audit/review of your websites/platforms/services offered by your library to ensure the WCAG 2.1 standard is being met for accessibility.

I know the website stuff definitely needs to be updated but my understanding and from reading up on it it looks like every web interface that we offer, whether it is created by us or if we contract with someone else, like overdrive and hoopla, also need to be compliant. Fortunately it looks like most of them are but we're going through the process now.

The city's got siteimprove for audits and our IT department has pinged our vendors for wcag2 improvements/compliance. As for the library's pages and PDFs, we got siteimprove reports from IT and at least for the PDFs used acrobat's accessibility checker/auto-resolve to handle most of it.

For our vendors, it was IT asking for the latest upgrades to the public-facing interfaces, specifically asking how they were addressing the WCAG2 compliance stuff. TLC wrote back about "improved compliance" with the latest upgrade which we had to queue up for. ContentDM promised improvements in the pipeline. I don't know if we actually audit vendors for compliance aside from contacting them and getting timely upgrades.

The city's got siteimprove for audits and our IT department has pinged our vendors for wcag2 improvements/compliance. As for the library's pages and PDFs, we got siteimprove reports from IT and at least for the PDFs used acrobat's accessibility checker/auto-resolve to handle most of it.
