7/30  Milford, Connecticut Audubon Coastal Center- 9:25am-10:20am- low
tide, sunny, 88F.
A brief visit this morning- active with campers and a school visit.
At low tide on the marsh- many Semi-palmated sandpipers foraging, 3 Yellow
crowned Night herons ( 2 juveniles & 1 adult),
2 Greater Yellowlegs and 5 Ospreys-1 adult on perch consuming a fish.
On the grounds- 1 Catbird, 2 Robins, 2 Carolina wrens, 3 Mockingbirds, 2
Cardinals, 14 Mourning doves, 16 House finches (at the feeders), 8 House
sparrows, .  And a short walk along the lagoon- 4 Snowy egrets, 7 Great
egrets,  28 Canada Geese and some D.C. Cormorants very far out.
