We're looking to try to pull together a conference for city attorneys that must address issues associated with hosting a college or university in their city. I'm wondering if you'd be interested. We're trying to pull something off for this August, but it may be too huge a task, so nothing definite just yet. If I can get a list of folks who might be interested I can get a better idea for planning hotels and facilities. There are obviously many issues that affect the interrelationships between universities, colleges and their host cities these days and we're hoping to begin discussing how to engage people on these issues. The format will involve an evening reception, followed by a full day of work and then home. Tentatively we're considering Columbia MO for this inaugural event. Obviously, we'd love folks to join IMLA, but that's not a requirement for this event. I appreciate your help. So, let me know if you're interested.
