Thanks for Floating Bollard Photos

We would like to thank all those (10 - bcc) who sent us digital photos
of floating bollards for our presentations.

We received many excellent photographs from very good angles and good
close up shots which will help us illustrate our talk about locking
where there are floating bollards that you wrap your line around and
bring back to your boat; versus fixed bollards at the top of the locks
where you hang onto a line dropped down the lock wall by the lock master
or your line which goes up around the bollard and back down to your
boat; versus cables connected at the top and the bottom of the lock
which you wrap your line around and hang onto.

Since most boaters in our area (Chesapeake Bay) have never been through
a lock, we wanted to be able to show them the various methods used on
the Loop.

We hope you all have a wonderful Great Loop adventure.  We did, and will
be telling stories and giving 35 mm slide presentations for years to come.

Thanks again to all!
