I know this ain’t the most riveting report, but on the way home from West Farms along route 6, I had two large groups of CONH (about 50 in total) sprinkled in with CHSW (10). It was real cool to watch them swarm over the highway... def some of my favorite birds

For those not familiar with the four-character species codes...
CONH = Common Nighthawks (as mentioned in the Subject)
CHSW = Chimney Swift

I joined my family at Kloter Farms in Ellington tonight for some ice cream
and noticed 4 nighthawks flying south over the period of time I was there
this evening and 1 while I was leaving. I always enjoy watching their
flights.
