A bolt in my stern thruster housing loosened and fell out. There was no
locktite on the threads nor were lock washers used. Does anyone know if I
can apply locktite underwater? Will it be effective? Thanks.

I would use Sikaflex.
Good luck,

Maybe if you let it air dry some first. Is there a bolt on the back? If so,
use a nylock bolt. I think it will cure anaerobically, but you'll have to
let it skin over enough so that you can get it into place without the stuff
washing off.

These are the low ash 2 cycle detroit approved oils I have. For
some reason I do not have a Texaco on the list. All engine manufacturers and
oil makers say not to mix oils. In practice most of us do.
