A conference call for the IMLA University Cities group was held on November 7, 2019. 1. There was universal praise for the University Cities Summit held in Columbia, Missouri, earlier in the year. 2. The group decided to pursue another Summit in 2020, likely to be held in the July-August time frame. Two cities were chosen as possible locations, Tulsa OK and Ann Arbor MI. John Dorman of Stillwater was going to pursue setting something up in Tulsa and Betsy Blake of Ann Arbor was going to pursue something in Ann Arbor. They will report back on progress. 3. Potential topics for a Summit or for programs at the IMLA Fall Conference were: getting universities to bear fair share of city costs, another Game Day presentation, housing, increasing diversity in municipal law offices, dealing with transient populations, transit issues. 4.
