Thanks for the kind words. It's a joint effort from all of us and the
community of course. We wouldn't get this far if we don't constantly
get feedbacks, bug reports, suggestions, and sometimes hassling from
all of you (I could use less of the later ;-) ).
So kudos for everyone!
Cheers
Benny
The IPP release is very exciting. I found a couple of small compile issues
I would like to bring to your attention.
Instructions say to define PJMEDIA_HAS_INTEL_IPP. I believe define should
be PJMEDIA_HAS_INTEL_IPP_CODECS
In ipp_codecs.c, the matching #endif for the line #if
defined(PJMEDIA_HAS_INTEL_IPP_CODEC_AMR) && PJMEDIA_HAS_INTEL_IPP_CODEC_AMR
!= 0 goes five lines too far.
Excellent job. Thank you for including IPP support as part of your system.
Best regards,
Archie

Hello,
I have seen IPP related release. Are these codecs supposed to work with
Symbian port as well?

Manoj

If you want to achieve something similar to IPP, the S60 APS for Symbian
9 should be integrated inside PJMEDIA to handle directly the hardware
codec support of S60 APS.
This will cut-off some feature like "conference calling", but this would
be the best approach in terms of performance and integration of pjsip on
S60.
Consider that APS provide you even AMR 4.75 with DTX (statistically
average 2.36kbit)!
If you want to invest following that path let me know
Fabio
Thanks for replying Fabio. What about open g729 ?...i guess someone has
already integrated it?

If you want to stay on S60 Symbian, like it seems to me, again the APS
provide you also the G729 codec:
http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.php/Audio_Proxy_Server
APS supports audio streaming using the following codecs:
AMR
G711
G729
iLBC

Ok..i guess open g729 is a bad idea. I guess i will go ahead with the
apprroach you suggest. However I tried to compile with IPP code and getting
issues ...may be i am missing somthing.
First i got usc*.h files issues which were solved when i copied these files
....after that i am getting ippcore.lib issuess...do i need to download this
file from somewhere else?
