Hello All! My name is Journey and I work as a Library Associate II at the Palmdale City Library 🙂 I was hoping to kick off a discussion by asking does anyone have any intent on celebrating black music month in June and if so, what events did you have in mind for it? As for me, I am in the process of outlining different ways I can contribute with or without an event being planned 🙂 I figured something as simple as a weekly flyer introducing patrons to different genres of music and recommending different forms of media, along with a curated playlist for each genre that is easily accessible is what I have in mind so far, but I'd love to hear any ideas you guys may be harboring, or even if there are any suggestions you may have, that would be great 🙂 Thank you, Journey Cody
