Visitors:
A few visitors again today. Thanks to Tom B and Su R for getting a count
done today.
Weather:
Winds were very light NE for the first couple of hours before switching
quickly to SE for the rest of the day. Temps are still way too warm from
17C to 27C. A little cloud cover in the early morning became complete cover
for most of the rest of the count period/.
Raptor Observations:
Given the crappy wind direction (SE) it was a bit of a surprise to see the
number of raptors moving through at the lake shore. Today's total birds was
587 with the bulk being Sharpies (331) and Am Kestrels (58) and Broadwings
(169). There were a few nice Osprey (6) and another bit of a push of N.
Harriers (12) with smaller numbers of other species.
Non-raptor Observations:
None were submitted.
