The PO had Cetol gloss on the exposed hand rails of my boat and I stayed
with it. The PO wooded them sometime in the 2002-2004 time frame as best
as I can tell and I have simply touched up damaged areas and recoated
the wood with Cetol Marine Gloss (the clear product) twice a year since
I bought it in 2006. The boat spends summers in the north and winters in
SE Florida or the Keys. I like to look and find it very easy to maintain it.

The teak trim within the enclosure had to be wooded when I bought the
boat. I used Marine Light for the base coat and then gloss for the top
coat. I add just one coat each year to this. I used Marine light for the
base coat because the natural had not yet been offered.

One tip, I find I get a more satisfactory job if I allow two days
between coats of clear.
