ZF Marine Transmissions

I have a ZF up dated tranny on one of my Lehmans. It's been in for 4 years or
so with no problems and have run many boats with ZFs. They have a good rep.
and make a good product.

My experience.  Spare parts are very $$$$, smaller trans (like we use :-)
are more 'replace' then repair.  But their service is top-top notch!  Had
an issue with a new one leaking.  They ended up driving someone down from
Seattle.  2-days, R&R the trans.  Cleaned the bilge, etc. , Was very very
impressed.

Always 'Do not worry, we will take care of everything', and they did...
