When on the Erie Canal, a stop at Fairport is mandatory, and the Fairport
Entertainment Committee makes regular appearances.

In this short video we have Captain Kaitlynn McHenry, then captain at
Colonial Belle, and now Captain at Maid of The Mist.

Her dance partner is Erik Crandall, then Chief of the Fairport Lift
bridge, now a master carpenter at Canal Corp.

And as you learn from Kaitlynn's comment, Erik is just no fun at all. :)

Two great friends. Few years ago I was a refugee at Fairport for several
weeks, because of flooding. I was forced to sit in this terrific touristy
town with a bunch of my friends. Poor pitiful me! :)
