. . . for their quick response to the call for support. As a result,
we are already halfway to self-sufficiency for 2009.
If you'd like to lend a hand, how-to particulars follow.

All hands--
Passagemaking Under Power List is informative, it's entertaining and
it's free--but it does cost money to operate, plus a whack of
volunteer time.
Since inception, I have happily covered the costs myself, because I
have the same passion you do for messing about in boats. So many years
into it, I still can't wait to get into the digest every morning to
see what's being discussed.
But my book-keeper has been nagging me. She believes I should try to
make the List self-supporting by making an annual call for donations.
So, here I am:
If you enjoy Passagemaking Under Power List, and want it to continue
and grow, please lend a hand by contributing toward expenses. A
donation of just $10 or $25 a year will prove immensely helpful.
To make a voluntary contribution via PayPal or a credit card, please
go to <http://www.trawlersandtrawlering.com/supportpassagemakinglist.html
On the same page, you'll find an address if you wish to contribute by
check or money order.
Have no fears, you won't be badgered about making a donation. Unless
someone posts a question or comment, I'll be reporting to you monthly
only on fund-raising progress, and publicly thanking those who have
stepped forward.
Please help make Passagemaking Under Power List self-supporting in
2009.
