QEW to Oakville, go south on the Bronte Rd exit to the end, follow Ontario St. east to the parking lot (about 1/4 km) and park near the playground... then walk straight to the lake / marina from there.    The family photographed is on the east location tire., as there are now 2 active tire nests... east and west.   There is a walkway near this location, telescope is not needed, maybe bins.... 400-500mm will work well for photographers.  These birds are very comfortable with people around.   Special thanks to the people who maintain these nesting opportunities.   I hope to have more images on my website soon.   take good care!
