David,

I found it interesting to see the founder of Weather Channel interviewed
and heard him say that global warming doesn't exist at all.  My personal
thought was always that the last Ice Age ended long ago and it's been
getting warmer ever since.  Then I moved up north here, and now I'm looking
for signs of wooley mamoths.  I fear for Bear (my cat) and hope one of them
doesn't step on him as he tries to drag it home.

Well, Fred, it looks like you need some global warming. Haven't seen much
the last couple of years. maybe its because it doesn't exist anymore. We
sure could use some warming out here in Duluth today. Its below zero here
also.

All you Snow Birds out there:

Ever wonder what you're missing by heading for Florida when winter
is
approaching in New York?  I just completed a page showing what it
looks
like up here in the frozen north on the Canals:

Later I'll answer the question, "What do look-keepers do all
winter?" ...
stay tuned.
