Blank
Mark & Susanne, crew of Winnie the Pooh, stopped by  Paradise Flatts in
transit from somewhere south to possibly somewhere north.  If you haven't
met Mark and Susanne and have the oppportunity, don't miss the chance to
chat with them.  While many of you know them from TrawlerFest, we as FNG's
(funny new guys)  have not had the priviledge until Monday evening.  They
are bright, intelligent, conversant, informative individuals and just fun to
be around.  Capt'n Lynnie and skinwalker ( not as dumb as we act) plied them
with gin until they shared every cruising secret they had.  We will now be
writing a tell all book of cruising with the knowledge we gained from these
two experienced cruisers.

Everyone else on the list is invited to anchor off of Paradise Flatts when
you go by.  There might even be some gin left for transient visitors.  We
are north of Charlotte Harbor and south of Venice on the west coast of
Florida.  Email us ahead of time for specific directions.

Mark also chastised me for lurking and not sharing my experiences with the
list regarding our newly acquired MT Pilothouse 49.  Mark is right, if you
are not interested in  what I have to say you will simply delete it.

Thanks to Mark & Susanne for Sharing.

Capt'n Lynnie and Skinwalker were our gracious hosts
while we were passing through Englewood on our way
north.  They have a secret anchorage right on the ICW,
protected from passing riffraff by a 2' shoal.  You'll
have to get the secret entrance (easy) directions from
them.

I take exception to the intimations that we were so
cheaply parted from our many cruising secrets.  We
were plied not only with Tanqueray, but hamburgers,
too.  Seeing Their 23 year new 49' MT pilothouse
trawler in the nearby boatyard was a joy...took me
back to my boat project days.  Paint being sanded,
plywood sawn from the cabin, tanks removed, all the
fun stuff that goes with buying somebody's "previously
loved" boat.
