I loved it when Hechtman and Siegel started talking dirty to each other--no
idea what either said, but I think they were getting irritated with each
other, don't you? The Skinwalker crew does thank you both for bringing it
to the table, it was educational and fairly interesting. Now take the time
to cool off a litte guys. We still love you.
I gave up on Verizon internet conncectivity at 14.4 after about 4 months
after we started cruising. It was slow and nasty and took me 20 minutes of
supersitious behavior to get it on line each day.
My youngest, Shauners, came to visit and installed an AirCard from "T"
Mobile. It runs faster, at about 46 bps or kbps or IOU or NBC. Heck, I
don't know, I just use the darn thing. The best part is that I can use it.
I suggest I am NOT the only one that doesn't really care HOW or WHY. I just
want the darn thing to work and to work trouble free! Is that asking too
much?
On Skinwalker, we can surf the net, is that still an acceptable phrase or am
I dating my stupidity again, We can connect and use the web, send and
receive small batches of pictures, as long as we have coffee or a rum in
hand since it takes a little time and best of all send emails to TT and my
logs to the website daily and quickly.
Oh, yeah. I hit the connect key. It connected every time since leaving
Mobile-St. Augustine, except off-shore between Applachicola and Clearwater,
. It will be ok if it doesn't work for one night or so in Georgia, although
I rather hope it will.
It does not fall down and go boom. It is constant. It works for me with no
aggravation
Just give me a trouble free product, then we can worry about speed and cost
as life moves on.
Thanks all for the discussion.
