02/26/11 - Guilford, off Rt 146, Shell Beach Rd -- at 8:15AM,
BLACK-HEADED GULL continues on west side of Shell Beach Rd flying over
the shore.

02/26/11 - Guilford, Shell Beach -- BLACK-HEADED GULL at 6:45 AM.

02/26/11 - Newington, Balf Quarry - 1 COMMON RAVEN, 1 PEREGRINE FALCON
which presumably is the same bird reported about two weeks ago by Paul
Cianfaglione.  The falcon was first seen in in flight, then perched on
the quarry cliff face.

02/26/11 - Milford, Milford Point -- Drake Redhead, 1 Common Redpoll.
Deep River -- 4 Black Vultures flying rather low along Main St.
Madison, Hammonasset State Park -- about 20 Bonaparte's Gulls in water
close to beach at Meig's Point.
West Haven, Sandy Point -- about 35 Common Redpolls.

breeding plumage in the Meig's Point nature center dirt parking area.

02/26/11 - Madison, Hammonasett SP -- 2 BONAPARTE"S GULLS, 1 first
cycle ICELAND GULL.

02/26/11 - Canton yard -- a flock of 18 Common Redpolls feeding on
thistle, the first this year.

02/26/11 - Enfield yard -- Two Common Redpolls at feeder.

02/26/11 - Pomfret Center, yard -- Common Redpolls (5) in the yard,
joining the Pine Siskins (3).  Took a while, but boy is it great to
see them again.

02/26/11 - West Harland -- a flock of 30 Common Redpoll plus two Pine
Siskin.

-- CACKLING GOOSE with a variety of waterfowl and gulls, 7 am.
