I am attempting to try to get the iLBC codec to work on a sip client for
mobile platforms. Its not specific at the moment which platform but my
current tests at the moment is on windows mobile 6.

Below is my test plan:

App on win mob > to pstn landline

The call will ring the landline, the landline can answer the call BUT there
is no sound either end. The app will also freeze on the device.

My settings;

  •      ec tail = 100

  •      frame ptime = 20

  •      play latency = 160

  •      record latency = 100 also tried 140, 160, 200

  •      clock rate = 8khz

has anyone had any success and if so would you mind posting your settings,
thanks very much.

Regards

Jerry

Never had any successes myself. iLBC is just too CPU hungry for most
embedded/mobile devices I think.
