The Monk 36 Owners Association has set up a group under Yahoo. If any of
the subscribers of TrawlerWorld are owners of a Monk, or thinking of
becoming one, you might be interested in joining. Refer to the attached
clip from the group's welcoming message.

We currently have about two dozen members online, and 100 members of the
OA. We are planning a rendezvous again this year in Crisfeld, MD, the
weekend of August 10, 11 and 12, 2001.

Monk 36 Owners Association

Purpose:

  1. The Monk 36 Owners Association (MOA) shall operate for the pleasure,
    recreation and socialization of its members, to increase and enhance each
    members enjoyment of boating through the socialization and communication
    with other members who enjoy the trawler type of boating.

  2. The MOA shall foster pleasure and enjoyment among its members by
    promoting safe boating practices, responsible navigation and thorough
    knowledge of members' vessels.

  3. The sharing of knowledge and experience shall be through the newsletter
    that shall function as an open forum and readily available library of data.
