I am watching my "pier boarder" apply the "Desert Sand" version of the
subject product to the galley countertop of his old Grand Banks. So far he
has sanded to old formica-like countertop and applied the base coat of
adhesive and sprinkled the chips onto the adhesive coat. Tomorrow he will
sand the surface and apply the two-part sealer. Even at this point, from
across the salon, it looks like a nice even coat of the mixture was applied
More to follow.

I had a renter apply that junk on counter tops in the house she was renting. Water stains it terribly. Had to rip out the counter tops and replace them.

Hopefully, this will be a better installation. You would think the thick,
two-part sealer would be sufficient to prevent water stains. I will report
his findings as time moves forward.
