Didn't the old Saab 3 cylinder 2 stroke use passive cooling?

And isn't there a trawler diesel that's air cooled?

Aside from not tooting one's own horn, I have some other thoughts.

There is almost nothing on the site for the Pacific Northwest, where I currently do all my boating.  This site looks like it needs a lot more work before it is ready for general consumption.  Most of that work should be additional content.  Also, I am not sure what the point of the site is.  There are other sites with good information, so there needs to be something new and special to make this one worthwhile.  Perhaps it will have someday, but right now, it is pretty sparse.

If anyone on T&T has information on boating resources from your perspective boating area that they feel would benefit this site, please feel free to let me know.

My boating waters are the California Delta and San Francisco bays, that is why that category is mostly finished, and others are still under construction. It is our goal to continue adding business and resources on a regular basis, so please keep checking back for updates.

Thank you for your input.

On a design point of view for a web site, it would be nice to have a real
"home" page with some introduction.

Then forget forever about any music going along with pictures or anywhere
else. Your taste are not the reader's taste, and people are already
surrounded by their own noise. Music on a website is a total turn-off in
2012.

Every photo selected should be the best and only the best of your
collection. Would you print it on a cover page magazine ? If not, it does
not belong on a web site. It's better to display 2 or 3 pics than 20 showing
almost the same thing.

Try to avoid any "deja vu"... That means no sunset pictures, ever. Certainly
not on a cover page.

Write some personal input and informations.

Bring something modern on the web, easy to read, preferably on a white
background. Keep the colors for the photos. We should be able to see every
photo on a full size screen, therefore, any thumbnail should be there only
to be able to click on it.

If all of us were in front of you in a big stadium with 200 000 seats, you
would have 20 seconds to grab our interest. After that, we begin to throw
tomatoes, or we just go away.

If you were in front of us on the stage of that same stadium, would the web
site you propose be your best effort, your best gift to the world ?

I suggest to search the web. There are many good sites with a professionnal
look. Actually, frankly, you're proposing something from another era, like
if it had been in the archives for centuries.

Bryan

Loved that car. I had 2 of them. Used to pull up to a gas station and ask the attendant for a quart of oil and then plug it directly into the gas pipe. They would flip out..."you can't put that in there"!!

Had another laugh when during the gas crisis of 1980 someone siphoned the gas.. would love to have seen that car smoking down the block with a tank full of oil/gas mix.
