Greetings Colleagues,
The application finish-line for the HBCU Library Alliance 2023 Library Conservation/Preservation Summer Internship Program is Thursday, March 23, 2023. HBCU Library Alliance members in good standing are encouraged to participate. Past applicant pools included students majoring in forensic science, American history, sociology, and fine arts. Let's encourage strong applications to continue this internship program for years to come.
In partnership with the Winterthur/University of Delaware Program in Art Conservation, this program fully funds 9 undergraduates for a 6-week hybrid summer internship at 7 nationally recognized library conservation/preservation laboratories. Interns will receive a $5,000.00 cost-of-living stipend to support their housing and living expenses during the June to mid-July internship.
