The City of Tacoma is currently updating the actions in our Climate Action Plan and would love your feedback. Please fill out this surveyhttps://www.engagepiercecounty.com/climate-action-plan-2025-2027 for us to better understand the climate issues facing Tacomans.

Tacoma's 2030 Climate Action Planhttps://www.cityoftacoma.org/cms/one.aspx?pageId=193914 sets forth transformative goals to reduce community greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and adapt to climate impacts. The CAP's targets aim for healthy, affordable housing; clean, reliable transportation; protections for public health; and green, good-paying jobs.

While the targets in Tacoma's Climate Action Plan (CAP) are set for 2030, its actions to achieve those targets come in three-year cycles. 2024https://www.cityoftacoma.org/UserFiles/Servers/Server_6/File/cms/enviro/Sustain/CAP%20Final/Section%202.pdf marked the end of our first cycle and a new set of actions must be identified for the 2025-2027 cycle. Community members have been imperative to both the development and implementation of our CAP, and we want your help shaping our plans for the future!

If you have any questions, please email us at Sustainability@cityoftacoma.orgmailto:Sustainability@cityoftacoma.org.

Thanks,
