Hello, colleagues. I'm a state and local government law (and property law) professor who's a long-time member of the University of North Carolina law faculty (based here in beautiful Chapel Hill where cherry trees are getting to bloom in this unseasonable weather). I also served as an elected member of our adjacent town (Carrboro's) board of aldermen (equivalent to town council). I've recently been working on a chapter for a new book on town-gown relations. On the university side, I was law dean here from 1989-99, as well as chair of the faculty senate. It's spring-like here with cherries about to bloom. Thanks for letting me join this group and I hope I can contribute-Judith Wegner
