from Glenn Williams: 12/26/13 - Waterford, Harkness Memorial State Park - female COMMON EIDER, 2 SNOW BUNTINGS; no sign of the female King Eider which has not been reported in a while Afternoon scouting for the New London CBC was fairly uneventful from Harkness and the Miner Road pig farm east to Bluff Point.  I searched the Avery Point and Groton-New London Airport area from a number of places without refinding the Snowy Owl reported last week.
