Had a diver down to replace my zincs today. He reports that the hull and
hardware are free of crustaceans of every sort, and that the prop, shaft,
and fittings that I coated in Desitin in September are clean of everything
and still slick with the cream.

What waters are you boating in? Temperature? My bottom is equally
clean, I use Penaten Cream (Baby's Bottom Stuff), but some people
have suggested it works well for me only because I'm in northern
waters (max temperature ~20 Celsius).

I did a pepper and Trinadad bottom job May 2000 and the pepper doesn't
work----never again, I'm going back to the anti-biotic that does work for
like 3 years. My diver said a lot of people are using pepper with bad
results in South Florida..........
