Hi all...this is Wes' wife.  He and a friend are trying to bring our boat back to Vermont after being caught between E20 and 21 for 26 days.  After leaving Rome this morning, they were in the Oswego Canal today headed for the St. Lawrence.

I just spoke to him and he said to feel free to use the photos.

p.s.  They had torrential rain in the Oswego Basin today.  He indicated that Lock O6 was very turbulent this evening.

Hi folks,

I'm adding still yet another website to the already overcrowded internet,
with a pictorial guide to the Erie Canal and other places of interest to
boaters.  I'm in the process of sorting out the hundreds of photos I took
over the past 4 years on the Canal and will eventually have the better
stuff on display at http://www.tug44.org/

Right now I am looking for pictures of the flooding and damage on the Erie
Canal, for a permanent record.

I would grateful to anyone who could share their photos for posting on my
site.

Photos of the Lock 3 Yacht Club and the folks at Canajoharie would be an
especially nice addition.

I'm especially interested in contacting Wesley Eldred to see if i might
"borrow" his fine photos as shown at http://www.caymanyachts.us/lock10.htm

Thanks to all,

Fred W.
