your fridge operating on 120v but not on 12v sounds like the problem I had
recently.
I replaced the one circuit board on top of the unit. I think this diagnosis
came from norcold tech support.
A little pricey at $300 from an RV store but is easy to self install and it
sure is nice.

If you find it is the board (not unlikely, given the symptom), I would
recommend a Dinosaur board over one from Ne'erCold if Dino makes one for
your model. Less money, more reliable, and often more efficient:
