*****  Birding By Ear A COA workshop
*****  Leaders: TBA
*****  Place: Audubon Center at Bent of the River, Southbury
*****  Date: Sunday, June 7th
*****  Time: 7am

Note: We had only negtative reports today from birders trying to see
the Western Meadowlark that has been at Sherwood Island State Park
this past week.  However, the model airplane field was active all day,
which would make it very hard to find the bird if it is still around.

From Bob Dewire et al:
04/26/09 - Voluntown, Pachaug State Forest -- 1 singing
YELLOW-THROATED WARBLER at same site as last year.  Go in Rt. 49
entrance drive main road bearing right at triangle.  Go through
campground and into woods.  One-half mile up road is fire pond on left
and stream under road.  Bird is on right side.

From Beverly Perkins:

1st saw her last night  & she just returned to the feeder today.
