Do a google search for "ethanol free gas" and almost any location
will have it somewhere."
Please cite the statute or reference for the legality of selling
of av-gas for non-aircraft use. It may be illegal to sell leaded
gas for on-road use, I don't know, but I've been using LL-100
(low-lead 100 octane) av-gas purchased from airports up and down
the east coast of the US in my dinghy outboards for years and
have never had an airport operator say that they weren't allowed
to sell me fuel! I had one operator tell me that >50% of their
av-gas fuel sales were to boaters, with the go-fast cigarette
guys filling up 20 5-gal cans at a time. Another operator told
me that he has guys purchase 1 gal at a time for their
weed-eaters. Hard to imagine all FBO's being scofflaws, so if
it's against the law, maybe the law is so obscure and unenforced
that it isn't known by many??
