George, I'm not so sure that I would buy another small horsepower 4 stroke OB. As I mentioned is a previous post, I have had expensive problems with my Yahama 15. When a 4 stroke is sick it is not so easy to diagnose and fix as a 2 stroke, Leatherman skills notwithstanding. I forgot to mention one other thing earlier. My Yamaha dealer said that 30% of their repair business was ethanol related...all 4 strokes. The real bottom line is use. If an outboard sits like mine does on the top of the other boat for weeks at a time, ethanol is going to be a problem. Doc In a message dated 2/6/2009 10:16:05 A.M.
