I took another trip to Rhode Island today,  and came home  with Three new
lifers.
In Warwick, RI I went to Apponaug Cove and found  a TUFTED DUCK (actually
two, but that's a long story), and four  REDHEADS.  There is a very nice
selection of waterfowl in that little  cove.
I then went to the end of Succotash Rd off US Rt 1 (in East  Matunuck, I
think) and found a RED-NECKED GREBE in mid-channel near the  Block Island Ferry
slip.
Really a pretty easy day's drive on a nice warm day for 3 good  birds.
