Cerulean Warbler at West Rock

West Rock Ridge, New Haven/Hamden/Woodbridge/Bethany, ridge top, 05/09/18 mid-day -
Cerulean Warbler (male) on the ridge top directly above the Lake Wintergreen water tank and on either side of Baldwin Drive (2:45-2:57 PM.).
Also, Blackburnian Warbler (male), Worm-eating Warbler (4), Northern Parula, Ovenbird, Black-and-white Warbler(6), Prairie Warbler (2, power line), Great Crested Flycatcher (12), Red-eyed Vireo, Yellow-throated Vireo (possible pair), Scarlet Tanager, Rose-breasted Grosbeak, Indigo Bunting (2, power line), Blue-gray Gnatcatcher (3), Common Raven (adults and at least 2 fledged young), and 19 occupied Great Blue Heron nests on Konold’s Pond island.
Falcate Orangetips (6 males) and Tiger Swallowtails (6+).
