To All - Just a reminder, this Wednesday is the annual fun Pursuit Race for the Cruising Fleet, including the Ideal 18s if we can find them a valid PHRF number. Howie Rinehart is working up the start times for each racer and will let everyone know by e-mail, and on the patio between 5 and 5:30 pm. In case you're not familiar with a Pursuit race, the idea is that the slowest boats start first (based on their PHRF rating) on a windward-leeward course, and the fastest boats start last trying to catch up with the smaller craft. If it was a perfect world, all boats would cross the finish line at the same time. The Fleet voted in the Spring to have this race scored, so your participation counts. See you on the water!
