The Lady is  presently at Bay Springs Marina, mile 412 on the Tenn  Tom.

Will be returning to here around the first of the month, to continue south.
Any suggestions as to side trips, stops, don't miss, etc., would be
appreciated.
thanks

Sterling

Great stops are Columbus MS and Demopolis AL, both featured in Goin' Ashore
articles in the Great Lakes Waterway Guide. In Columbus, see the Mississippi
University for Women, many historic homes and buildings on the National
Register of Historic Places, enjoy the Riverwalk along the old Tombigbee and
more. In Demopolis, historic antebellum homes, beautifully landscaped public
square and downtown area filled with pots, planters and large beds of
flowers. Both towns have great eating spots.

Hope you visited Shiloh Battlefield while on Pickwick.

Sterling,

A really good side trip is up the Alabama river to Montgomery. We did it a
few yrs ago and it is great. One of the best rivers around. NO SERVICES at
all a great trip. See a detailed article that I wrote on it for HEARTLAND
BOATING magazine. It is on my web site.
IMHO it is a don't miss!!!!!!

Another is at Mobile turn to the west and go to Corpus Christy , Texas.
Again a good trip and nothing like Fla. ----nothing like it!!

Again, see several articles on my web page and all the navigation and cruise
info you will need--- well almost all.
