What does a wife want?

Jennifer,

Perfect result, you have revealed a great insight that may unslave couples
to reach out and go cruising.

For a start my apologies for the "little Ladies" mention. It is a part of
the Aussie idiom when we refer to our wives. (bit like the "old man" thing)
Condescending it certainly was not meant to be, and possibly innapropriately
placed on a predominately American site.
What do we have here? A subject that hardly ever raises it's head for some
reason, and here you are making a case for your cause, and I am delighted to
hear your view, and hope that others may follow suit and chime in.

This is a most talked about private subject between men that go
passagemaking, or more to the point, aspire to go passagemaking but never
make it because it's not the spouse's thing.

A feeble excuse probably to justify my slant, but sometimes we have to have
to spark plug to get things up and going and on to the table, and I hope I
may be have been a little help here for PUP readers (just in lifting the
posts for a start), but time will tell.

People don't often share their real feelings on a site like this, mores the
pity, but we can only try for those that may wish to put their view on the
table, and you certainly have, so well done.

How about telling us more about your experience with the lady skipper giving
your tuition, as I bet there are lots of ladies wishing they could wrestle
the con from the "big guy" (please gentlemen, this is not a condescending
phrase) and get him wrapping up on the bullrails for a change.

Hell, I'm going passagemaking with or without my wife anyway, but hopefully
this thought provocation may break the ice a bit for guys/gals on the edge.
I'm not getting paid for this, but the messenger usually get's shot anyway.

Regards,

Peter Sheppard
