I have recently joined an organization whose focus it is to prevent and
hold accountable the "big" polluters in baltimore harbor.
I will be patrolling and taking water samples.
If you want to get involved, it is called "Baltimore WaterKeepers
Alliance". The national mother organization is called "WaterKeepers"
and their website identifies the locat chapters.
If you are interested in getting involved in a solution, well here it
is. In the meantime, I'd appreciate if those who are adding to the
problem in their own "small" way could please try to control themselves.
Best,
Bob

Those of us who boat in a Commercial Boat environment, in my case, Tampa
Bay,
watch, every day, ships constantly pumping there spaces & bilges in the
boat
channels & putting out as much pollution, in one day, than all the
recreational boats put out in a year.. Why?, because its easy for the
politicians to go after Rec. boaters, piling on regulation, after
regulation,
& take money from the commercial people to leave them alone... If all U
people
would stop bitching & put pressure on your elected officials to do
something
about this scandal, we wouldn't have to listen to some of U people
complain
about Rec. boaters...Until something is done to reign in the Commercial
interests, I will continue to dump my holding tank in tide areas..and I
guess,
continue to hear people on this site bitch about each other.... Ken,
Tampa
Bay
