I passed on the thread to my good friend who is a professional boat painter.
Here are his thoughts:
Always use a kicker, allow enough flash time between coats to avoid die back
or dull spots and allow at least 5 hrs before dew on horizontal surfaces...
been there done that and I've got ten tee shirts... we color coat and then
clear wet on wet and we buff whenever we want to after cure...Awlcraft 2000
paint holds up extremely well and because it is an acrylic urethane, not a
polyester it is completely repairable, blendable and buffable... I would use
AWLGRIP on hi traffic areas such as decks and nonskid.. My experience and my
opinion! JN
